Healing is an Addiction

I don’t know what it says about me that I’m back to heavily leveling alts, and that they are both my resto druid and my resto shaman in particlar.

Oh, and don’t forget the priest, still gearing up.

HEAL EVERYTHING FOREVER. And bitch about bad tanks. Oh my god, the lowbie tanks, guys.

But it’s okay. For every tank a group kicked (1), there was a tank the group gently mentored. I do hope that the adorable nub-DK tank didn’t listen too much to the warrior who didn’t even know what a rotation was, though.  Spirit mail is not for you, little DK tank…

Of course, do I really love healing this much, or do I just hate long queues that much?  Hmmm.

Was planning on levelling a resto shammy as well, but she’s somehow morphed into an enhance from the 55 level mark. Default solution for any issues with a character:
    – Can it melee DPS?
    — Y: Respec
    — Smash things in face. Repeatedly.
    — N: ABANDON FOREVER

Resto Shammy is so fun! As is having an off-spec dual wielding elemental power-imbued tankards.

I hear you on the bad tanks. I healed one on Manneroth that had 9 blues, 2 of them pvp, 2 of them 316. He didn’t gather up adds either. And the DPS stood in fire, and everyone insisted on the achieve.

I love my Priest. Have not been able to get excited about any other type of healer yet. I have every class that can heal at a high level so could try others..

Healing IS an addiction. I have a healer of every class at 85 (with my Holy/Atonement Disc Priest being my main).

I almost did a Bad Thing this weekend. It reminded me of some of your posts from Wrath days… I almost made a new Priest, just so I could level something that I knew I’d have fun with, and that the character would be a healer.

I deleted them at level three, after I slapped my own wrists.

The urge is still there, however.

I think it’s inevitable, especially with today’s news about the Jana book being pushed back… and with it, the rumor is MoP will be fall-ish now.
