Dear People on EJ…

Dear People in the EJ Shadow Priest Thread,

Casted is not a word.  The past tense of cast is…cast.  Okay?  Okay.

It’s bad enough you have to talk in complicated mathy goobeldy-gook, at least learn to use fucking past tense!

Thank you,

That’s kind of surprising from people who are so great with math and theorycrafting but we all have our pet peeves. Mine is when people in the trade channel say “for sell” instead of “for sale”.

Oh right… casteded! I forgot. Or is it like swim, swam, swum? Cist, cast, cust? /scratches head Don’t pay attention to my manipulation of the English language, just my manipulation of numbers! :P

It’s ironic because there’s a mod over there who will give out infractions for things as silly as putting spaces after punctuation. I’m slowly migrating my participation toward other forums, and eventually might convince myself to go read only at EJ.

Don’t forget the fact that English isn’t the mother tongue of all people, Math is a bit more international. :P

Casted, you know, it’s something you do during fishing.

“I casted my reel and I caught a 3000lb tuna!”

@Armagon – That doesn’t stop you from hitting spell check and realizing that “casted” isn’t a word. :P
