… Suddenly I’m not looking forward to LFD with my late-40s toons.

  2. #2 by deyndor on January 22, 2010 - 12:32 pm

If its not ST its WC :/

  3. #3 by Cynwise on January 22, 2010 - 12:38 pm

Yes. Why must it be WC every. single. time?

  4. #4 by koalabear21 on January 22, 2010 - 12:39 pm

    I get Mara Orange

  5. #5 by supernose on January 22, 2010 - 12:47 pm

Yes. It’s all about Mara now. And I cannot tank that on my druid. Not yet. I really hate it.

  6. #6 by Turiel on January 22, 2010 - 1:06 pm

    Hahaha, I love this.

Especially becuase I am leveling my hunter… and I pull everything for the tank… I only admit this becuase the tank is my old roommate who I am on vent with, and I do it becuase I love to hear him scream “YOU ARE AN ASSHOLE” being as this is his first tank ever. Especially when I start complaining about how he can’t hold aggro.

If you hate a certain instance, don’t queue randomly! Pick a specific instance. Even better, you will often have more options than the random selector will pick from. The rewards from random queueing are not that great. This is how I avoided doing SM:Graveyard for 2 solid levels.

  8. #8 by koalabear21 on January 22, 2010 - 1:43 pm

The problem with that Argon is you dont get the extra gold or the satchel of helpful goods. The lowbie toon I am leveling is on another server and faction from my main so I need the gold and possibly the blue.

So picking the instance isn’t always what can be done.

I weep enough on LFG on my mage, I could not bare waiting on another toon.

Ughh, I have a level 49 prot warrior in the exact same boat. I have run Mara and ST plenty of times as a healer, but I never actually paid attention to where the fcuk we were going, and now it has come back to haunt me. And I have never even been inside Dire Maul, so it looks like I have to quest till Outlands.

I wonder if my tank has a dps alt around the same level . . . Do hunters get misdirect at that level?

  11. #11 by Oasic on January 22, 2010 - 2:40 pm

I think I had ran Mara enough times to get the random item on all 4 slots for all 3 specs. When I come back to WoW I assume I will be running ST over and over after dinging 50.
    Fun. :-(

  12. #12 by Kotakh on January 22, 2010 - 3:27 pm

@Oasic When you come back to WoW (which is better be next week) you will be running ICC 25 with the rest of us mister!

  13. #13 by HP on January 22, 2010 - 3:46 pm

LOL, I have a lowbie lowbie priest and I have been queue-ing up as dps only because I heal on my main and I rather just dps. Even so, I get healers in group that still try to tank and tanks still trying to tank so I still wind up healing anyway >.<

Lowbie pugs are an absolute mess. Sometimes more stressful then 80 pugs because there will be true noobs in there.

I guess it makes for a good laugh after the fact though =P

  14. #14 by repgrind on January 22, 2010 - 3:59 pm

Just wait until you’re done with ST and it’s all BRD all the time until you make it to 58.

  15. #15 by CMK on January 22, 2010 - 4:46 pm

    Gotta love Flowchart Friday.

repgrind: Just wait until you’re done with ST and it’s all BRD all the time until you make it to 58.

    Sad but true.

  16. #16 by Ambrosine on January 22, 2010 - 5:52 pm

@repgrind – Then they’re all fucked because I can’t find my way in there, either.

  17. #17 by tobeume on January 22, 2010 - 6:33 pm

I finally got done with the ST grind on my baby druid and moved on to BRD. After that I didn’t even get a shot at Strat because it threw me right into Ramps as my random. Now its nothing but Mana Tombs and slow ass escort quests for another couple of levels. GGGRRRR

  18. #18 by Nzete on January 22, 2010 - 9:55 pm

Maradon… nature immune mobs and an enhancement shammy alt… bad news… repeatedly.

So, I bought dual-spec resto (collect all four healers), and now I have been to BRD enough times to know where I am going… scary thought.

Now I am in the land of “dks on their 5 level and think they can tank”.

  19. #19 by Brajana on January 22, 2010 - 11:03 pm

This has got to be my favourite flowchart ever! Great job, and so accurate! :)

  20. #20 by Rake on January 23, 2010 - 8:45 pm

Ah yes, ST. Not looking forward to that grind again. I have a Mage and paladin who’ve been at max level for so long I can’t remember what it’s like to grind to 60 or 70 or 80. But I’ve recently brought a 36th lvl Warlock out of retirement. The thought of going through SM, ST and BRD all over again makes me want to blowtorch butterflies.

    But ‘locks are fun :)

  21. #21 by ZombiePirate on January 25, 2010 - 4:27 am

At 25 on my Lock I always get Stockade, I’d much rather be running Shadowfang Keep but apparently all Horde need to be ported into a Stormwind instance all the time instead of occasionally getting to venture into the nice spooky castle sitting on the Forsaken’s doorstep.

  22. #22 by Ambrosine on January 25, 2010 - 9:31 am

@Nzete – I’m collecting all 4 healers as we speak. I just need to dual spec the druid. >.> I really, really want to flail-heal.

  23. #23 by Dia on February 10, 2010 - 6:31 am

Oh man, I can symphatise – I threw my reta(r)din into LFG in the mid to late-60s and fuck me if it didn’t love handing us Auch Crypts! To date there’s like nearly 30 Maladaar kills on my pally just from LFG. That tart.

ps actually yes, yes I’ve had about 3 runs with all-pally dps. It’s about the most fascinating thing ever – starting with The One That Constantly Overrides Blessings and That Other One Reta(r)din Who Always Has Righteous Fury Up(quit that!) and That One Over There Who’s Aura-Dancing And Oddly Has Frost Resist Up Instead of Shadow Resist…

The upside though is that when everyone’s working in sync, mass mob pulls burn down *fast*. Real fast. :’D
