I am, in fact, still around–however between having a Warmachine army to paint and my wedding being now less than a month away, you can probably expect me to be quiet for awhile longer.
Weddings suck, man. If I’d known so few of my friends would make it out here I think I would have eloped after all. What’s the difference between having your future mother-in-law bitch about you eloping behind your back vs having her talk shit about your wedding plans behind your back?

I had a Twitter follower spot (and then come say hi to!) me at Wizard World Comic Con on Saturday, which was apparently a rather bemusing experience for the Cranky Tank.
“Who was that?”
“Uh, someone from the internet.”
“…someone from the internet?”
“Someone from the internet, yes.”
Josh thinks Twitter is pretty moronic, so I left it at that. I have to say that Comic Con isn’t really my cup of tea–I’m more of a Ren Faire girl, I suppose. My Green Linen Shirt also confused Peter S. Beagle. Anyone have a good way to explain that shirt? I sure as hell don’t.
I now have a signed copy of The Last Unicorn, though. That’s pretty awesome.
In other, actually WoW related news, my shaman is level 69 and braving Northrend. I ran a dungeon with Alas on Lyrandre as well, bringing the bubble priest to close to 82. She may yet make a return thanks to our sudden dearth of priests. What? Where’d you all go guys?
Last but not least, Stands in Bad in recruiting! At this rate we can work with just about anything, but heals are definitely a priority. We’d prefer a priest (again, where the fuck did they go?) but we’re not exactly being picky. Just be geared to do t12 and don’t suck. The name is a joke, not a goal!

What’s the difference? None, especially when she one day confesses that her rantings were completely off-base and that your decision to get married was a good one. Either way, that plate of crow will be sweet.
In our case, she hung the engagement picture with the words (paraphrasing) “I don’t know why I’m even hanging this – it isn’t going to last”. It took her three years to admit it her error – and that is now 11 years ago.

I would like to point out that I has priest geared for T12, but you are stinky alliance and, well, I think your times compete with the raids I already have.
Like I NEED another raid.

If I may be so bold as to comment, lemme just pull out my ranting stick annnnd, okay, here we go.
Preist healing effing sucks, that’s where we all went. Holy hell, what the fuck was Blizz thinking? It may get better with gear scaling, but it is soul-crushingly bad at 85. Got me a disc priest, she’s been disc her whole life, she’s heading upwards of ilvl 350, and I won’t step foot in a heroic. Popping every cooldown i have, my mana barely lasts long enough to finish a boss fight. Four people hovering around 20%, and a tank who’s not taking any damage. Fuck me how the hell that works.
And it’s not just me, because I watch other healers in other groups, and priests constantly have mana problems, almost to the point of having to drink after every pull. I haven’t seen casting this inefficient since moonfire spam in the BC days. Color me not surprised that a hunk of the priest heals base says, “wow, this is a massive pain in the ass. I’ma go roll a hunter.”
I can’t speak for Holy, but while I imagine that disc is a fantastic single target healer, the game doesn’t work that way anymore, and that leaves an entire spec effectively broken.
That said, Archangel sho’nuff is pretty to look at.
