Prot Pallies seem unable to maintain any sort of threat now. Rets seem unable to do any real DPS now.
And I couldn’t agree more about the “hey, I’m playing a pally, not a rogue” attitude. Yes, I have a rogue, and she sits at the mailbox. There’s a reason I never play her.

AoE threat is pretty broken for everyone (DK’s dont seem as bad as the others though) if you’re worried about that but as long as your reacting grand crusder procs ive not noticed pallies having any issues on single targets with occassional splash.
But hey thats just from the perspective of a Resto shammy/Rogue. It just seems people are going to learn the hard way tanks need to slap the mob more than once before they can unload a small nuke on it.

Having the same issues, especially on AE tanking, bosses are doable if I pop wings and stick to 939, AE is total crap pre-4.0.1. I had no trouble keeping aggro on mobs with full t10-264-277 people banging on them, now one random dps in full 264-277 can easily outtps me. Yeah and holy power does seem rogueish

I’ve only just gotten my holy priest to “I think she might be raid worthy now” – six hours. I looked at the next toon… holy crap, my boomkin has 45% hit… good night… maybe her bear spec will be less painful to figure out… maybe And heaven help the baby alts…

@Nzete bear is far more fun now than it was pre 4.0. The spec is relatively simple to figure out, the glyphs are a brain aneurysm away from being “this or nothing”, and druids are pretty beast on single target threat.
My bear was keeping threat off a destro lock pulling somewhere around 15k on saurfang last night. Hell, DBM was screwed up so we boffed the rune of blood swaps. The pally offtank taunted and I *RIPPED* threat back from him just by following my rotation and mashing buttons like a fool. It was all I could do to laugh… and to be fair, Saurfang was taking such a beating that his health didn’t even noticeably heal from me taking the run of blood. Bears are king of threat right now… (Oh, and being back up over 50% dodge with buffs is nice too)
